How QR Codes Store and Encode Data
Error Correction Levels Explained
QR codes use Reed-Solomon error correction to remain scannable even when partially damaged or obscured. Level L (7% recovery) produces the smallest code and is fine for clean digital display. Level M (15%) is the standard for most uses. Level Q (25%) is good for industrial labels where minor damage is likely.
